I hate to disappoint you but Denmark is pretty much impossible to move to. Even foreigners who marry Danes can't get in unless they have a prior connection to Denmark. Better switch to Sweden. :) The good news, however, is that it is not as hard to bring animals over from the US anymore. We brought our cat with us, and he didn't even require quarantine because we went through this long process with shots and bloodwork; it took a year.

Northeastern Minnesota is a good alternative to Scandinavia, anyway. That is the part of the US that I consider home, and the only place I would move to if I moved back. The stretch of country along the north shore of Lake Superior is fantastic, in many ways.
