First of all, let me please ask forgiveness for the terrible pun above; I couldn't resist. Today I brought Veil to Dr. Rich's office for nine; I could barely keep from crying when I was cuddling her before they took her into the back to prep her for surgery. I'm still really worried and incredibly nervous, but I trust Dr. Rich's judgement, as he's performed adrenalectomies on both Lucky and Veil, before. I then left Dr. Rich's and headed to PetCo to pick up the male, albino that triple_phoenix and I "interviewed" a couple days ago. So far he's proving to be an excellent companion for Trixie, the three-month-old, even though he's considerably larger than her. When I last looked in on them he was peacefully sleeping on their towel while she was licking, biting, and pulling as hard as she could on his ear. Trixie's an adorable, little panda so it's impossible to really get angry with her, even though she's very bitey. The albino, although playful, is very laid back which is the only reason he must put up with her. I still haven't decided on a name for the albino yet... I'm choosing between the names Eyebright, Garnet, Cloud, and Wraith.
