It's a beautiful, mild gray day. Very Autumnal.
I do look forward to spring, but not nearly as much as I do autumn. It's the time of year when I'm happiest; somehow the gray, dark days and long nights just bring me joy, while I get the most depressed at the start of spring and in the height of summer.
It's also nice because we don't have to use the A/C or heat. The cool breeze and a box fan in the window is all we need! The humidity does make the tile floors feel sticky on bare feet, but that's something I can get used to or remedy with socks.
There are sea gulls nearby. They make me glad.
