But hopefully not for long.

We treated everyone tonight with Advantage, since the Frontline we used a few weeks ago had absolutely no effect on these fleas. In fact, these little fuckers survived for a week in Borax at my parents' house, in the empty room we had been using, which was completely devoid of any animal life for them to feast upon (of which we're aware, anyway).

I also got some rosemary oil and cedar oil based repellent to spray on the furniture and a Borax-based powder to use on the carpets, although the flea problem has not spread beyond the pets and in to our house.

I think the ferrets have the worst fleas, the poor things, but it should clear up with the Advantage. If not, I'll wait a couple days to bathe and flea comb them, then dose them again. I used to use a great mousse on them that was repellent to fleas and which was safe to use every couple of days, but I can't find it in stores any more.
