I actually uploaded some images of my finished objects and my works-in-progress to Ravelry. The quality isn't great on the extreme close-ups, but it's mainly dishcloths anyway, not any intricate lace work or anything. :) However, the quality is better than the knitting pictures I've taken with my laptop's camera.

Since the yard guys weeded the flower bed on the north side of the house, I took the opportunity to spread some new soil and plant the amaryllis bulbs from my mom's house that she had to dig up just before she had the drive way torn up.

We may not get flowers from them in the spring, but we'll definitely get them the following spring and no doubt at least a few new bulbs.

Tomorrow I'm going to have Carl dig a nice hole for our stick of a "snowball" viburnum.

I'm going to plant the dwarf pomegranate in front of the house, which is the east side. Planted near the office window, it should be sheltered enough from the north wind to survive even if we have a freeze.

The rosemary, of course, will go right by the front door.

It's nice to have the beginnings of a garden in the works again.
