My mom had another, gigantic bag of baby clothes from Debbie in her car for me, as well as a small box of various baby books. I was satisfied with the clothes she had already given me, so I'm thrilled about this new, huge batch (the bag is nearly too heavy for me to lift, so I'm going to let Carl move it from my car to the house) to go through, which I think has some toddler clothes in it, too.

My mom told me that Karen, sweet woman that she is, is also saving her baby girl clothes as her infant daughter Olivia grows out of them. So, it looks like whether we have a boy or a girl, we'll be in good shape. I don't mind dressing a little girl in blue, but I probably won't dress in a little boy in anything pink and covered in flowers; honestly, my favorite baby clothes all have cartoon dog or puppy prints.

Now it's time to head back over to my parents' house, for steak, green beans, baked potatoes, and corn on the cob.

Yeah about free baby clothes! Especially since they grow so quickly out of them.

Your dinner sounds amazing!

Yeah, my mom was telling me that with me it seemed like I would grow out of my baby outfits before she'd used them three times. I feel unbelievably lucky that we have people in our lives who have kids just the right age that they can donate their hand-me-downs to us!

Dinner was definitely delicious. Even as an adult, there's still nothing like mom and dad's home cooking. :)
