Although it's not as soon as I'd like, I'm getting my cover-up's mate tattooed on Thursday evening and I can't wait! I'm also going to get the cover-up touched up while I'm there, but it really doesn't need much done, there are only a couple spots of white that need to be filled in.

Good news on the computer front, too! My wonderful boyfriend is having two of his uber-geek friends build me a new machine at cost, which they will then write off as a business expense for their young and growing company, Red 5. Not only will it be ready within the next two to three weeks, but I'll be able to finally play The Sims 2!

Yesterday [livejournal.com profile] triple_phoenix  and I stopped by Galactic Games so I could pick up the Wood Aspect book for Exalted, and then we had dinner at India Palace which was, as always, completely delicious and rediculously filling. I had a plate of leftovers for breakfast and foolishly ate it all and I'm still stuffed!

Today Allen* and I saw that movie about the superhero highschool (the name escapes me), stopped by Target, then went to Laser Tag. The movie was cute and I enjoyed it, but the ending was a little too clichéd even for a kids' movie; I most loved the visual puns and the rediculous names, and I even liked the 'everyone is equal' moral. Laser Tag was fun, but really showed me how out of shape I've gotten over the last year or two of being sick and tired. Really, I just need to set up a nice space for yoga in the studio like I used to have, it's just hard to get motivated to go ahead and actually clean out an area. Still, I should go ahead and just do it for my health and figure.

Tomorrow we're spending the day working around the house anyway, so I'll ask my honey to work on the studio while I clean off his horribly messy desk and organize his randomly piled paperwork and comic books and... who knows what else under all this mess in front of me! If nothing else, my desk always remains neat and orderly. Really, pretty much everything I've cleaned and/or organized lately has stayed that way— thank goodness!— and I feel proud of that; my parents are both such disorganized pack rats that I've always had a fear of being that way myself and I most certainly tend to that naturally, so it's a real relief to me that I've been able to improve so much beyond that.

I'm rambling, so I'm just going to stop here.

I loved your post. Getting a computer built by knowledgable nerds is the best (I should know, my mate is one ;D) and getting it at cost is incredible. I envy you getting tattoo work...mine need touch ups and there is one I've been wanting for the past couple years.

Oh, do I hear you about the parents' packrattyness. *sigh* Its' an uphill struggle everyday for me not to utterly fall victim to that-and you've reminded me I should really clean off my desk.

You're right, I really do have to make an effort every day not to wind up in the same situation as my mom! The house my parents live in is just filled to bursting with unorganized, unnecessary junk and she's quickly filling up the house next door she bought as an investment last year. It's pretty sad, really.

By the way, I love your icon.
