1.Name someone with the same birthday as you.
I don't know anyone who shares my birthday, so I'll nominate an honorary birthday twin randomly: the first king of Swaziland. How's that?

2. Where was your first kiss?
I can't remember my first kiss, I've kissed a lot of boys! However, I do remember my first kiss with my current boyfriend: it was in his car at night, we were parked in City Park near Marconi Meadows and he was afraid to kiss me, so I asked him "Are we gonna do this?" and we've been kissing frequently ever since.

3. Have you ever seriously vandalized someone else's property?
Yes, and they may still be pissed, so I'd better not say who.

4. Have you ever hit someone of the opposite sex?
Yes, on more than one occasion, but they almost always deserved it. Almost.

5. Have you ever sung in front of a large number of people?
Yes, I've sung on stage a number of times and even the national anthem at a baseball game with my choir. I've also sung for smaller groups just for fun, but for the last few years I've been ridiculously shy about singing for some reason.

6. What's the first thing you notice about the preferred sex?
Probably how they carry themselves, good posture is extremely important to me, but honestly the first thing I've noticed about each of the guys I've been involved with has been something different for each one.

7. What really turns you on?
Oh, there are so many things... A nice back and shoulders, a great date, knowing I'm truly loved, when the night air smells a certain way, a great game of Laser Tag, my lover's scent. I could go on and on.

8. What do you order at Starbucks?
I don't go to Starbucks, but when I do go to coffee shops I generally just get hot tea or a decaf. cappuccino, because caffeine makes me crazy.

9. What is your biggest mistake?
I've made so many mistakes that it's hard to pick just one, but honestly I don't think any have been that big. I'm more or less happy with my life the way it is right now, so I think I'll just leave it at that.

10. Have you ever hurt yourself on purpose?
Yes, I had a problem with cutting myself at one time.

11. Say something totally random about yourself.
Eating bananas makes the inside of my ears itch. It's maddening.

12. Has anyone ever said you looked like a celebrity?
Yes, I've been told I look like Christina Ricci (spelling?). I was not flattered.

13. Do you still watch kiddy movies or tv shows?
I don't watch a lot of television, but I do have a few shows I love: Arrested Development, The Office, My Name is Earl, Reno 911, The Simpsons, King of the Hill, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, and Stroker and Hoop.

14. Did you have braces?
Fortunately I've never needed braces, my teeth have always been very straight. However, I do have a lot of trouble preventing cavities— I have 'soft' teeth.

15. Are you comfortable with your height?
Sometimes being only five-foot-three is frustrating, like when I visit someone's house and they keep things on the highest kitchen shelves and don't have a stool handy, but I would rather be short than tall. Besides, I feel tall and 'project height,' and, what's more, short people don't get back trouble.

16. What is the most romantic thing someone of the opposite sex has done for you?
I have a man who has never failed to give me the perfect gift, often for no other reason than to make me smile. When we first started seeing eachother he tracked down for me My Youth on Arcadia, a Captain Harlock movie, without me mentioning it more than once; For my birthday that same year he bought me a crystal ball, because I mentioned at some time or another that I'd always wanted one, and for my next birthday he got us tickets to a museum exhibit of ancient Egyptian treasures.

17. When do you know it's love?
Honestly, it's not easy. Infatuation and dependency can often be mistaken for love, but neither really is, and love isn't nearly as romantic or simple as it is in movies. Real love is a 100 per cent commitment from both people involved that requires complete honesty tempered by understanding, willingness to compromise, and a desire from those people to travel through their lives— that's plural!— hand-in-hand.

18. Do you speak any other languages?
I'm still learning American Sign Language and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in unique languages and cultures.

Goodness, no. Those people look like poorly cared-for leather.

Bitch, Adbusters, and National Geographic

21. Have you ever ridden in a limo?
No, never, unless I was so young that I can't remember anymore and I don't think that counts.

22. Has anyone you were really close to passed away?
My friend Lisa was hit by a car and killed when she was only sixteen, I still miss her.

23. Do you watch MTV?
No, no, no!

24. What's something that really annoys you?
I cannot tolerate it when people chew with their mouths open or smack their lips when they eat, it actually makes me nauseated.

25. What's something you really like?
I love my good days, board games, ferrets, books, the zoo... I'll just stop there or else the list will go on and on. Just go look at the 'interests' I list on my LJ User Info page and keep in mind that they only allow that many.

26. Do you like Michael Jackson?
Enjoy his music, but find him terrifying.

27. Can you dance?
I'm far too shy, although I'm sure I could learn.
