I finally got around to going to The Bra Specialist today and I couldn't be happier with the service I received and the bras I bought.

The woman who helped me was extremely knowledgeable, gave me the most accurate fitting I've ever had, and found a wonderful selection of bras in different styles (heavy duty minimizers with extra-comfy straps, supportive demis, and very comfortable pretty bras) and colors for me. While I was trying them on she checked on me a few times, but not too frequently, which is important to me, and she was very personable.

I wound up spending over three hundred dollars on six bras, which I don't feel at all guilty about because they're all good brands that will last a long time. I'm so glad The Bra Specialist was recommended to me by that girl at Victoria's Secret; There hasn't been any place in New Orleans to buy good bras with good customer service since the last of the old, downtown department stores closed and I come to Texas to visit my aunt often enough that I won't feel like I'm going out of my way to buy bras when I go back.

It may seem silly to get this excited about an undergarment, but I always have trouble finding bras that fit well, let alone attractive and comfortable bras that fit well.

I'll never go to Victoria's Secret again unless it's just for some cute panties or nighties, it makes me sick that they're no longer carrying DDs in store.

note to self: look at Jackie's boobs next time I see her.

I miss you terribly. when I get back home, let's do lunch or something.

We'll absolutely have to do lunch and preferably at Egg Roll House! I ordered lo-mein from a Chinese place down the road and, while their lo-mein was tasty, it's just not as warm, yummy, fuzzy, and familiar as Egg Roll House shrimp lo-mein.

mmm, or their spicy tuna rolls. I was estatic when I heard ERH was open again -- I don't know what I'd do without their Chinese food. It's the staple by which I judge all other Chinese food. I wonder if Oki Nago is open?

I just hope Kanno will be able to reopen if haven't already, their food is always just wonderful and it's very authentic. And I can't forget to mention the home made chocolate they serve ice cold! It's wonderful.

ooh, that's right, we never did get to go to Kanno. and I wonder if Frosty's is open yet; sushi and bubble tea [or even just a pot of green tea] sounds about as comforting to me right now as the prospect of sleeping in my own bed. you really don't realize how good NO has it sushi-wise [I keep wanting to type 'Suchi'] until you leave it!

the first thing I want to do when I get back is spend the day eating sushi, playing Soul Calibur II, and hanging out with my friends.
