For those of you who have already registered with FEMA, but who have not yet received aid: beginning Tuesday or Wednesday we are to call 1-800-745-0243 to discuss our application and situation with a FEMA agent who will then award us the money we need.
I only discovered this by going through three different FEMA representatives on the phone, the first two of which were completely unhelpful and ignorant. If you have any more trouble or want to try to view your FEMA claim online she advised me to go to www.gov.com instead of the FEMA website, but I haven't visited there yet, I'd rather talk to a person on Tuesday or Wednesday.
