There's a convenient map accessible from NOLA.com where you can see both the maximum and most recently measured flood depth in your neighborhood. In my neighborhood the maximum estimated depth was ten feet and there is currently estimated to be about five feet of water on my block. It's not fantastic news, but it is helpful and encouraging information.
