Enduring Plum

For the first time since Katrina overwhelmed my city I'm feeling frustrated, I just wish there were some way for progress to be made more quickly, but of course there's just not. It's encouraging to hear that water is now being pumped out of the city, but I wish I were already there, hauling our now-useless appliances and ruined furniture to the curb. There's so much work waiting for us there, I wish we could get started.
